Zain: Are you in Karachi? I bought a Warid Prepaid SIM the day it launched operations. But here in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, there currently is NO WARID SERVICE at all since yesterday(SOS Calls Only!). It was also 'down' a few days ago for a couple hours. The current 'outage' is longer and unexplained. There is something very wrong. In a way, I almost wasted Rs. 300 on a service that is 'down'.

Yes I am in Karachi. well i would say u made a mistake by buying Warid at this time, because its also being rumoured that they are bringing new postpaid packages (that'll be a disgrace to their reputation though) not two weeks after they launch and they immediately start reducing tariff, i just hope they dont go bankrupt!
There has barely been any response by any telecom company to warids arrival, disappointing.. both the arrival of Warid and the no response. Furthermore, Telenor ends it free SMS and MMS promo Well it was known it woul end soon but i guess they thought of winding up especially when Warid so NOT rocks (talking about prepaid here)
I would suggest a Warid postpaid to anyone, its the best connection available atm. But lets wait and give it time to settle.
