Good that you used the word RUMOR. Because I do not think any company would want to take lesser profit of what they can still grab. 2.5 per minute can be a marketting gimmick like Paktel's 0.99 at night. But free Weekends? I smell horrible network load and will stick to Telenor in that case. And what if this tarrif is for postpaid with 2000 line rent, big turn off, no?

i would still get warid.. i prefer keeping all the connections since each of them offers something different! even with postpaid that is SOME cool shit they will be offering.. lets see what happens though.. and yes paktels is a marketing gimmick but they aren't cheating like mobilink are they? by posting at the side of the ad 'interconnect charges apply' now that sucks! lets see what happens though.. don't believe these rumours myself either..

wow that's avery good news 4 me if it is true but 80%chances r that it is a rumuor but as far as existing cellular companies r concerned i think that ufone is the best telenor can still not compete ufone due to its such an affordable tariff and coverage but if warid arrives with such services and tariff then it will have a lead mobilink is the "most" worst cell company in pakistan and unfortunately it is the most popular one also but i hope that its rule will not prevail anymore

I am a warid test user. I must say it is the best network i have used in Pakistan. Call connects immediately, no drop calls and no noise. Warid to Warid calls are even better than the calls made on PTCL lines.

Getting impatient on getting a SIM for yourself......on 23rd it will be available commercially.....:)

Well i know that all this fuss about the tariff is going on. this tarrif which is being talked about was just a suggestion by an employee at WARID TELECOM to the authoroties in the first week of Feb. And his recommandations were considered, but only partially.
As we all know that in this world of competition, the tarriffs are not the most stable thing. So therefore, these rates are not applicable.
But what i do know about WARID is:

* 64K SIM cards for Postpaid
* 32K SIM cards for Prepaid

* Friends & Family Group (upto 7 members) - Half rates [CALL & SMS]

* Get any Warid number of your choice.
0345-ur previous number
